Dying of Thirst

Derived from the song “Sing About Me, Im Dying of Thirst” from Kendrick Lamar’s album good kid, m.A.A.d city. The song “Sing About me, Im Dying of Thirst” is two different songs on the same titled track, but holds two different stories. The first part in the song “Sing about me” Kendrick tells the story of losing his family over gang violence in Compton, California ( his brother) and trying to keep his brothers name alive by simply “singing about him”. The second part witch was followed by a interlude of dialogue we’re friends of Kendrick were seeking vengeance for what they did to his family hence “dying of thirst”. At the end of the song there is more dialogue where young men come into contact with an elderly woman ( more or less on the religious side). The elderly woman sees what’s going on and the anger in the atmosphere, and sees that the young men are carrying weaponry seeking to set out vengeance on the people that took their brother, the woman goes on to say that she’s understands what they’re feeling and that they should rethink their decisions and the unfortunate outcome and possibly being placed in a never ending system. The elderly woman say “ your dying of thirst” and then leads them in a prayer hoping that they will continue in the right direction the good lord intended even though they are hurting.

Him ;“I can’t believe they killed her”
Them; “what do you want to do? I can see your dying of thirst! Say the words and you got it!!”

An epidemic that seems to be spreading fast. Where a male or female does anything for a the opposite sex because they are yearning for attention or sex. Only way to be cured is to get what they are desperately needing. Seems incurable tho..

The one hoe (or man-slut) who will do anything to get laid, or even touched, by another. They are THE thirst. It lives within many, but usually, there's one embodiment of the sickness that really wants it. For people of the same gender, the thirst is an embarrassment (because, of course, the thirst gives a blow to the integrity of their gender). For those desired by the thirst, it is a plague. Reverse Thirst 

reverse thirst is most prevalent when women purposefully boast how sought after they are by posting pictures showcasing their physical assets or saying something to incite male attention and react as if they were unjustly objectified by all the single men they add to their friends list only to continuously validate their own self worth. These women are the first to use the term "thirsty" to describe male responses from less desirable suitors, but appear flattered when their ideal mates show favor in the same way.

Sasha got that #reversethirst going, made a post saying how she has no real friends and no one to help her and had a hundred thirsty homies trying to chill in an hour. She will call the one she was hoping to catch back and save the other dudes for another rainy day. Going ghost.
