Really...rap music is NOT all about money, bitches, bling, cars, etc... you are thinking of GANGSTA RAP! 2 completely difrent styles of music! plus the best example you can come up with for shitty rap music is 50 cent yeah evryone knows he sucks huge dick. really the best you can think of is 50?
rap lovers almost never talk about other styles of music. I listen to rap almost entirely myself, but i got respect for other music styles and i wouldnt just write off your music so show some respect for others cultures.
i can perfectly understand the argument that rap is not music. (it has no melody) instead of thinking of rap as music think of it as poetry. and for the last fuckin tyme something from 50 cent is not poetry. go listen to some 2pac/dre/biggie/jay z, etc... if u want to hear some real hip hop music

if you think rap sucks so much, try writing one rap song. not just somethin like 50 cent, but i mean something real with flow and some good ryhmes. until you write a song to match something from notorious b.i.g., shut up about rap.

A pathetic excuse for music, rap isn't real music to begin with, the simple fact is that rap is poetry set to a beat. Original rap wasn't so bad. It dealt with many different issues and was worth listening to. But recently this rap has been taken over by shit also known a "gangsta rap." Really all that it talks about is how that rapper " went tru da hood an' shot da cops" now really why cant they pronounce anything right? do they think it's cool or something to sound like a retard and say "da" instead of "the"? Even if you ignore the horrible "music" the sub culture of it is really sickening. Fans walk around looking like either criminals or like retards with too much jewelry. They can't even talk, it's like they had to try and sound unique so they came up with stupid sounding words like shizzle,and yo and stupid phrases like "in da hizzy" really they just look and sound like a bunch of fucking idiots.

Step 2: Write some words that rhyme and tell a story about how you did something illegal. If you can't come up with a real rhyming word just make one up.(That's how shizzle came to be)

Step 4: Send it to a record company, if they like it they will ask yout o make a few more that sound exactly like it.

Shittiest music ever made. It's always about either how much drugs I do or how many women(or men) I fuck.
The only thing that can top rap music is the music videos, which always are about the rapper in the center while women in bikinis dance in the background.
Rappers almost always say "fuck the police" in their songs, but would not hesitate in calling them if they were being robbed.
Completely talentless, this music(if that's what you want to call it) is the pinacle of humanity's intelligence declining.
