The network named "Music television", although it ironically is not. They only play music in the early hours of the morning. Most famous of MTV shows may include the Real World, or TRL. Preppy bubblegum pop teenagers such as Lindsay Lohan fans run home with their cell phones and diet sodas screaming to their "BFFs" "OH EM GEE BECKY TRL IS ON LETS GO STARE AT RYAN SHECKLER HE IS SOOOO HOT!!!" even though if an amazingly attractive skateboarder came up to them they would roll their eyes because he's not some stupid prep, and walk away.

A teeny-bopper version of VH1 for softcore wannabe's. Often play predominetly rap/ r&b and or softcore pop. People who watch MTV tend to be big fans of Britney Spears and other assorted teen sex idles.

Now it's nothing but an asinine joke defined by teenage pregnancy, annoying Italian Americans, and completely shitty noise disguised as music videos (which RARELY make appearances).

MTV is a network national channel that rarely plays music except during the credits, insomia hours, and during a sad scene in laguna beach. Instead they show "reality" shows raiding rooms and dates with your mom. MTV introduces different music out to people, but making it seem like its a trend or style. In some opioin MTV ruins music making it seem to comerical or fake. MTV also playes the same songs over and over again until your just to busy bashing your head in to turn off the T.V.

Fall out boy is actually a good band until mtv took over and played there songs over and over again.
