lube-eye

when a person who wears contact lenses inserts their contact lenses, in circumstances where they still have lube (usually the expensive engineered lube, which is very difficult to remove, even with vigorous hand washing)on their fingers. that person will often experience "lube-eye", where their vision is a little hazy, and the eye can be senstive.
