fair play

Brittish slang for correct or okay. Phrase taken from sports, where an action (play) is judged whether or not it qualifies or is within the rules.

"You must be pissed, mate."
"I've had a few, fair play."

fairing off

Southeastern Missouri term. Not sure if it's known of elsewhere. "Fairing off" pretty much means calming down, or clearing up when it comes to weather. Used if the weather has been pretty bad recently.

"Hey, do you think the rain's gonna fair off today?"

"I think it's been pretty much fairing off over the last two days. Maybe it'll be faired off enough to have a picnic tomorrow."

Can answer to absolutely anything.

If something good happens to you it's fair do's, if something bad happens to you it's fair do's

or if you havent listened to the question you were just asked, or the answer you just recieved, fair do's will make everything ok, enjoy XD

Fair Lawn

Home of the Cutters. (What the f*ck is a cutter anyway?)
More like home of the tools.

If you walk past a group of kids and you are smoking a cigarette they will surround you and beg for one. And start yelling, "CUT ME DOWN, YO!" "CAN I GET A BOGE?!"

If you go to Panera Bread or Dunkin Dounts, you will most likely find a group of kids smoking cigarettes that are all looking or waiting for bud.

If you go to stone bench you can probably find a couple of kids smoking a blunt.

Fair to middilin'

In the cotton industry a number 1 bail of cotton is linen grade while a number 2 bail is "Fair to middilin', not good enough for linen but good enough for bluejeans. A fair to middilin' bale of number 2 grade cotton.

Store clerk ask me how was my day, and I replied "Fair to middilin, hows yours".

fair call

A verbal call made by someone which makes sense, is reasonable and the majority of parties involved agree with. Not to be confused with an actual PHONE call. Commonly used in disses and rap battles.
