When someone or something that's expected to lose, but later, they became the winner.

"I didn't expect that the other team won, they had only 2 points, what an underdog!"
"The red side was out numbered and think they were going to lose, but somehow, the blue team caught up and win the battle! They're the underdog!"

underdog

An old expression from the Australian bush. Before sawmills made their appearance, felled logs were dragged to a saw-pit and cut lengthwise into planks by two men using a cross-cut saw, a mean beast of a thing up to 10 feet long. One man would stand on top of the log and push down, and the man underneath standing in the pit - the underdog - would push the saw up.

A rotten job, with sawdust in your eyes all day and really hard work compared to the top dog who just had to push the saw down. The boss never saw how hard this man worked, so he was less likely to get a better job, a pay rise or be noticed at all.

Now an underdog is someone - or something which is going to struggle against superior odds to win a contest.

The new Vegetarians Party will always be the underdog in Texan elections.

Undercover Pimp

A man who by all outward apperance is a square guy but really is one of the most down hard on a bitch motherfuckers you could imagine. An undercover pimp is one that may work a regular job (usually a very high paying one), not do drugs, and wouldn't consider pimping the everday street hooker or stripper because they would never make him the cash that he desires. This man pimps w his mind and doesn't need flashy clothes and Jewelery. He also never pays for pussy cause he dont need to because, well he's a pimp.
