A word used to describe a process in which someone is unable to support his/her arguments, but continues to believe that it is true, and continues to tell everyone his/her statement and poses it as the truth, even if many people can prove his/her argument being false.

How can Trump say that COVID-19 outbreak is already over in America when there are hundreds of thousands still sick? This is rontardly absurd and untrue.
