Pilot Mode

When software is installed or developed directly into a production system without clearly defined requirements or any form of testing.
This software usually remains dormant or is lightly used until such point as the warranty period expires and full usage begins whereby all the defects and failings become apparent.

It’s a nothing car. Yes, it has locking diff and yes, it’s as non-threatening as a protestant preacher but it’s simply utilitarian. In fact, this is the closest car you can get in the 2000s to what the original Ford Explorer was, and you can make all your dad jokes about explode O tires. Pilot

Skilled, highly trained person that can fly an aircraft safely and efficiently. Usually good looking. Contrary to some mis-informed opinions they are hard working, meticulous individuals that have a stressful job. UNLIKE the example above.
