Someone people came up with thousands of years ago to explain things that they couldn't at the time. Much of what was credited to him has since been explained by science. Even life on Earth has scientific explanations, everything from chemical reactions to panspermia (the idea that life was seeded here from elsewhere in the universe). Sure, you can argue that someone must have created the universe, and that person could only have been this "God". But that begs to question, "where then did this "God" come from?" Things can become terribly redundant. The fact is, nobody knows the answers to this question. Not the churches, not the atheists, nobody knows what they claim to know. All we know is that countless innocent have been slaughtered in his name, and millions continue to suffer. It doesn't make sense, and Religion itself has become more of a burden to humanity than it could possibly do good. The only thing that we should do is try to be a good person, and enjoy the life we have while it's here. Not hate or kill or claim to know the answers in his name. Just forget about all of it and make just trying to be a good person your goal. You will be happier for it.
TRUE conversation I had with another student-
me: I don't understand why people hate gay people so much. It's not like they're hurting anybody by being gay. And is it really other people's business what someone else chooses to do with their love life?
her: Well, I don't know, but I believe it is a sin because the bible says it is.
me: But hasn't it been scientifically proven that being gay is written into the person's genetic code, 9 times out of 10, and it can even be hereditary? Why would your God create them like that if he was just going to damn them for it?
her: I don't know, but I'm going to hate them, just to be safe.
me: *is bewildered by a blunt force of ignorance*

He'd much rather have you see his "work" consisting of killing the innocent for the sinner, helping the sinner become innocent and repeating the process from step 1. He also fucked some virgin and had a demigod son who later become a zombie.
God killed your mother so that you could be a better person for him. You should devote your entire fucking life to him because of this.

The concept of God was and is used to control weak and stupid people who are too scared to accept the fact that when we die it's all over. Power hungry people take advantage of this greatest fear and offer a solution. The weak and stupid people are so desperate for a solution that they cling to it despite it's numerous flaws because it's the only "chance" they have to avoid eternal death. However in order to be worthy of God's grace, you have to do certain things. These things became the first laws which were set to control the masses. Wars, murders, rapes, pillages, robbing, persecutions, and countless other horrible atrocities have been committed in the name of God to justify them. And despite all we have learned from the human pursuit of knowledge, and despite our general education system, people still believe in God. Out of fear.
If a non believer goes to church once, nothing will probably happen. However if that non believer goes every Sunday, a lie told often enough becomes the truth. In other words, the human mind will eventually believe something it knows it is not truth if it hears it often enough. This is how church works. Have you noticed that "sins" are mostly our natural urges? A person struggling against their natural urges is going to be confused, feel worthless, lose confidence, and will turn to their bishop/pastor for answers. The bishop has the answer, God. God can save this unworthy person if this person does this, this, this, and that. This is how people get controlled.

God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.
He is always there. just shout out His name and he will come and save you.
God loves you remember that.
God doesn't hate you if you are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, a Terrorist, a Rapist, a Murderer, a Muslim, a Jew, a Pagan.
God loves all of us.
Yes, even Christians sin and yes sometimes there are the ones that get extremists with their beliefs. But in reality, Good Christians that are not hateful and are educated do exist.
Also people say that God is a murderer, there is something called free will. I can go rob someone if i want and God will not stop me. He allowed all of the disasters to happen to open the eyes of people. And yes, death is a part of life, everyone has their time, i might have my time in years or in a couple of minutes.
People call us uneducated saying that the Big Bang started the World but there isn't sufficient proof. Yet for the Bible people say it is not enough proof, it is. Faith brings the answer.
Okay, I know that some people might not believe in him, but insulting him and us won't do much. It's our belief, we choose to live this way.
