bullet time

The name given to the special effect of a bullet (digitally slowed down) traveling through a computer program called the Matrix in the movie "The Matrix".

Nearly everybody agrees that the most revolutionary technical effect in The Matrix was the use of bullet time, which is the "super slow motion with dynamic camera movement" visual effect used by the Wachowski brothers to stretch and freeze time like taffy during the story. They went on to develop other revolutionary techniques for the Matrix sequels, particularly the "Burly Brawl." But bullet time remains a viewer favorite.

Timing Belt

noun: A timing belt, or cam belt (informal usage), is a part of an internal combustion engine that controls the timing of the engine's valves. The belt itself is one of man's most painstaking automotive repairs as it requires 5-8 hours to replace. A timing belt repair is one of the most unsatisfactory jobs because it does not show any sign of improvement after replacing. A common timing belt repair is $700 dollars at a mechanic and almost $1,000 at a dealership. A poor functioning timing belt can also be an excuse to hang with friends.
Boy 1: "Yo dude can you chill this weekend?"

Boy 2:"Nah man I gotta change the timing belt in the truck."

Boy 1:"Alright I guess Ill talk to you later."
