SEGA Genesis

Also known as the SEGA Megadrive in Japan and Europe.

The first 16-bit home console ever made by SEGA. The hardware is based on a modification of SEGA's System 16 arcade hardware, which was created in 1985(?). The SEGA Genesis was released in 1988 and competed with Nintendo's Super NES system, which was released in 1991. Although the graphics and sound were obviously inferior to the Super NES, the quality gameplay and innovative uses of the Genesis's hardware limitations were more than enough to challenge Nintendo in the marketplace for the entire 9 years of its lifespan.
Some of the best games for the SEGA Genesis are the Sonic the Hedgehog series, the Streets of Rage series, Gunstar Heroes, Contra 4, Rocket Rat, Shinobi/Shadow Dancer, and Eternal Champions.

This Sega saga is one, if not the most anime game out there.

This is that jrpg disguised as a hack n slash/shooter (sometimes), It's like if you took a final fantasy online game, made it more simple and free, and on top of that, letting people set free their wildest anime fantasy. If it wasn't for the fact that this "fantasy" was not another way to just say "i wanna draw porn but I don't know how to draw so I load this game to make the most sexy and fuckable character ever, to show everybody my degeneracy" it would'nt be alive till this day.
This is also the game that has one of the simplest, yet monkey driven economy, with the most USELESS stuff being the most expensive... like emotes.
There are also not enough things to make this game worthwhile playing for two months. Although most of the players see it as a game to get freaking powerful and be the best player in the world having the best alliance in the world like this was something outta One Piece.
This game is also carried by the inmense amount of furries and role players, tryhards and kingpin wannabees. The game is also mostly rng, but not for those who pay to win.

In some regard the game is just a clusterfuck with almost nothing to do other than pretend you're "grinding" like in a Koei Tecmo game, when really is just everyone doing everything for you while increasing your chances of convulsing.
Guy a: Dude what the hell is that you're playing?
Guy b: Oh, I'm playing Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis

Guy a: All I see is an anime girl with big boobs and a big ass
Guy b: Yeah, that's the character I've created
Guy a: You really have to stop that porn addiction you have, man.

Guy b: I DON'T HAVE A PORN ADDICTION!!!!!!

Neon Genesis Evangelion

A Japanese animated show, of 26 episodes (the film, End of Evangelion offers a more tangible conclusion than the series), which aired between '95 and '96. The plot is typical:

- A government agency is set up to save the world.
- Three 14 year olds pilot humanoid cyborgs and kill monsters.

It is interpreted as a number of things:

- An intricate look at ourselves and others.
- An attempt to make animé original; to broaden its the limits(See my definition of animé).
- A cruddy non-sensical, contradictory, boring, drawn-out, pointlessly violent, perverted, pessimistic, and pretentious cartoon.
- A safe-card/fall back/name drop for self-proclaimed animé know-it-alls who've never watched the show.
- A series easily insultable.
- A calling card for unfounded animé-haters.
- An excellent source for debate (:P).
- A prime example of character development (or lack of).
- A test of patience.
- An escape from reality.
- A reflection on reality.
- A kik-ass animé w/lots of gre and BOOBIES.

And finally, for the immature, "laisser-faire" types (not in an economical or politcal sense), and/or emotional lacking:

- A waste of time.
Examples don't apply to Neon Genesis Evangelion.

neon genesis evangelion

On of the coolest anime series ever!
It screwed me up for awhile due to it's cool-ness. It's cool up to episode 25-26.

And then End of Evangelion was oh so fucked up...
Neon Genesis Evangelion is fucking cool, it's so cool that they couldn't even repeat the cool-ness in episodes 25-26, thus making it shit

neo-genesis

The true interpretation of a name for a Japanese anime known as Neon Genesis (or Neon Genesis Evangelion). For reasons of repetition or emphasis. Genesis means begining; and Neo means new and different. Thus: new-beginning (synonym: Recreation, Rebirth, Ressurection)
Neo-genesis AKA Neon Genesis

Neon Genesis Evangelion

An anime that revolves around psychoanalysis, particularly of the main character, Shinji Ikari. Ayanami Rei, whom Shinji developed romantic emotions toward at the beginning of the series, as well as Eva Unit 01, are later revealed to be, respectively, a clone(s) and the soul of Yui Ikari, Shinji's mom. LOLWTF.
But really, though, Neon Genesis Evangelion is an amazing, action-filled, complex, and thought-provoking series. The descriptions may seem stupid, but it's awesome.
