A failing rock group based in London who frequently disagree with on/off singer Jp Palin, have no real fixed bassist and drummer and generally suck. Despite this, they have a somewhat large following made up by friends and whores, all of whom favour the band to local rivals, Weekend Religion, who suck. Jon Horton and Jordan Philips, they key members of the group meet fairly regularly to write emotional music, cry and touch, and have now produced 5 songs, none of which are nearly good enough to play to an audience. Band members also encourage the adding of ATF to friend's mysspace pages and msn screennames. The logo seems to appear on many local objects including school desks and drunk people's faces

Flailing

1. A term used to describe a male, or female, who has just left a serious committed relationship and fails miserably at casually dating.

2. Commonly seen from both genders who have become so set in the mindset of a relationship, that the intricacies of first and second dates are thrown out the window to satisfy the need for their parter to fill the hole that their past relationship left.

3. These men and women unconsciously lead on potential suitors, who mistake their habits of intimacy as genuine intimacy, and cause not only heartache for the suitors engaged in the casual encounters, but for themselves as well; usually out of guilt.

1. Person 1: What happened with that girl you were seeing? I thought things were going so well!

Person 2: I thought so too, but after learning about her recent breakup it looked less like a sure thing, and more like she was just flailing around.

Flailer

A Flailer is one of those mysterious friends that one day just disappearers off your Facebook friend list without any reason. If you have a large friend list, you may never figure out who it was and why they deleted, blocked or whatevered you. Not only is it rude ,but may cause negative feelings and nobody wants that.

You keep adding new friends but the number stated on your home page always stays the same... or goes down! You keep seeing your "good friend from high school" name in your suggested friend box, but you know you have added them already...three times! They are "Flailing" cause they are: Flailers"!
