ScreenShatting (verb)
The act of aggressively screenshotting someone’s
post, artwork, or authored content—usually out of context—and reposting it to provoke
rage, derail conversation, or
farm clout. It’s digital sabotage disguised as engagement. Often used by trolls, baiters, or chaos agents who can’t match the original tension, so they fracture it instead.
“After David
dropped that capsule, the trolls started ScreenShatting it everywhere—no credit, no
context, just
pure distortion to bait reactions.”
