I-Mosh Fat Guy

An I-Mosh Fat Guy is that 1 very large dude you find in a mosh pit at a rock/metal/punk concert. It's always that 1 guy that pushes you. You aren't necessarily afraid of him but you hate having to deal with him.

Hey dude, why do you have that black eye?

Oh, I got smacked in the face by an I-Mosh Fat Guy at the concert last night.

Caught in a Mosh

1. While on a Metal/Hardcore/Punk/ concert you(sometimes unwillingly) find yourself in the middle of a Mosh Pit, with all the craziness that ensues from such an activity. Although the pit can be quite harsh, it can also be fun as hell.

2. An awesome song by Thrash Metal band Anthrax; a true anthem for those who enjoy the afore-mentioned activity.

1. Dude, I was Caught in a Mosh last night in Death by Stereo's gig. I wanted to keep it civil, but damn! It was awesome.

Two Man Mosh Pit

when at a party/school disco, two male teenage(often univited friends (best mates and loners) who arent getting into the party and generally have distain for the music played or hosts of the party, often by shouting "two man mosh pit!", start moshing and jumping into eachother violently for a brief period startling the people sitting on sofas singing to girls aloud.

"Hey Ed, why did we go to this girls party. The music sucks"

"You know what I'm thinking?"

"TWO MAN MOSH PIT!"

Combat Mosh

Originally coined by the thrash metal band Lich King, "Combat Mosh" is normally yelled out in mosh pits at metal shows. It is a call to action to others in the pit to beat someone up, normally because they're being a dick (targeting, hardcore dancing, etc.). Combat Moshing normally happens in large groups so participant's can't really be singularly targeted and thrown out.

Headbanger 1: Hey man, you see that asshole windmilling over there?
Headbanger 2: You're damn right I do!
Both: COMBAT MOSH!!!

Canadian Mosh Pit

noun. informal. When members of the audience at a rock concert or other upbeat music event sit cross legged in front of the stage or pit area. It is customary for members of a Canadian Mosh Pit to rest their elbows on their thighs in order to support the chin with hands in loose fists and knuckles facing together. Though a slight side to side head bob can often be observed a Canadian Mosh Pit is characterized by very little movement and no dancing.

Clancy: Dude this jam is sick , let's move off the lawn and rage by the rail.

Jasper: This crowd is pretty lame, I was up there for part of the first set and it's a Canadian Mosh pit.
