When two friends become boyfriend and girlfriend. Before dating each, they have to endure bullying and sweaty armpits. A lot of confusion may arise "what do you mean." A beautiful relationship in disguise

When you go out to meet up with a group of friends at a bar, club, lounge, restaurant, or really any social situation, and suddenly find yourself the only single person in the group. So it's just you and a group of 2-5 couples. Fun.
Oh I was going to go meet up with Megan and Scott and all them but I think that crowd will be Couples City. So I'll probably just stop and say hi and bounce for somewhere else.

When you draw an imaginary boundary around your relationship to help strengthen it by keeping outside intrusions (like work and family) at bay, at least temporarily.
A simple example is a couple with children getting a babysitter and having a 'date night' with each other. Another could be negotiating the number of visits by your in-laws (and how much advice they give!). Keep them out of your Couple Bubble!
