Abnopunk

A sub-genre of aesthetic or vibe that exudes feelings of nostalgia, reminiscent of faded childhood memories. Abnopunk carries visuals of once-vibrant colors now dulled by the passage of time, resembling a once-spectacular showpiece that's now starting to show wear and tear. The sensation is similar to wandering into an old carnival where the vibrancy is shadowed by age, but the memories are still potent; like a once-beloved toy found in the attic, or a clown whose makeup is starting to peel off. It's a mix of the eerie calm of the backrooms without its unsettling nature, wrapped in the soft glow of yesteryears.
