Beer Off

Initially a competition where people passive aggressively proved their superiority to others by drinking more than them, even when it was not clear to everyone in attendance that a competition was taking place, the term has grown to mean any gathering where beer is aggressively consumed.
"Hey, are you going to the beer off tonight? The one on the shore?"
"Before I answer that, let me grab my second beer."

When two or more stoners get together and see who can smoke more pot. In other words, who'll get "baked" first.
Dude, Mike totally dominated us all at the bake off last night. He smoked about an ounce of chronic and didn't even act stoned when we went to McDonalds for munchies.

When two (or more) people use the game Paper Scissors Rock to decide the ownership of a certain item. Mostly used in Australia. Spoken as "I'll rock you off for..."
Person 1 - "I'll rock you off for that burger." (or, "Let's have a rock off for your burger!")
Person 2 - "Ok, let's go!"
Person 1 and 2 - "1...2...3!"
Person 2 - "Damn, I chose scissors when you chose rock!"
Person 1 - "Haha, rock always wins. Thanks for the burger!"
