When one settles for the generic instead of the genuine article. Used primarily when a guy goes for an easy girl.

i.e. " Matt totally Kroger branded that deal when he started dating her"

" Dude, don't kroger brand that, shes got bigger arms than you do!"

The red indent in a person's under stomach from wearing a belt that is too tight. Belt Branding is common in the fat person community.
