People with Trans Derangement Syndrome have been trained to have an extreme adverse Pavlovian response to anything suggesting 'trans'.

The mere utterance of the word trans or they/them bypasses the higher-thinking circuitry of the brain and triggers the primitive rage centres to go off.

Person 1: “is JK Rowling ok? They seem mentally unwell”

Person 2: “no, seems like they have a serious case of trans derangement syndrome (TDS)”

These supporters often claim that people with "TDS" are irrationally obsessed with Trump, when in reality, such criticisms usually stem from genuine concerns about decisions made by the nation's chief executive that could negatively impact them or others. The President himself has also embraced the term, using it in a self-aggrandizing manner to repel and delegitimize criticism.

Person 1: Did you hear how five Republicans in the Minnesota Senate proposed a bill to add Trump derangement syndrome" as an officially recognized mental illness within the state? I swear my country has gone crazy ever since this man ran in 2016...
