right, ok.
scene, scene kids, scenexcore, scene points, scene scene scene.
BASICALLY scene kids are called scene because they like to go to shows. for some reason everyone finds their
-bandanas
-black (cut-at-home) hair
-dinosaur/robot/polka dot obsessions
-skinny jeans
-checked shirts
-beads
-lingo
-alice bands
-septum rings

The word ''scene'' has recently come into existence. Traces of usage have been reported as early as the late 90's, but not proliferate until 2003.
Although the word ''scene'' is commonly used as a synonym for words such as ''emo'', ''punk'', or ''hardcore'', a more accurate description would be ''in'', ''cool'', or ''popular'', almost exclusivley pertaining to the ''emo'' culture.

emo+candyraver=scene.
Scene kids dress like a combination of emo and candyravers but they're not depressed like emo kids. They're usually pretty happy but they just like the style of emos and candyravers.
a scene kid has...
choppy, stick-straight hair (either short or long, not in between) dyed more than one color
gauged ears
emo glasses but they'll usually wear contacts
plastic bracelets ('candy' that candyravers wear)
cute little clippies/bows in their hair
wear shirts with small, repeating cutesy pictures like dinosaurs or owls or whatever
usually wear a long striped shirt under another shirt so the stripes poke out the bottom
enjoy childish things like coloring colorpages, etc
spend time with friends taking myspace pictures
HAVE to have a myspace
chipped fingernail polish (usually black)
big sunglasses
tight skinny jeans
converse, vans, and ballet flats
myspace backgrounds are like their shirts: cutesy repeating pictures like dinosaurs or robots or owls or something like that.
listen to bands no one's ever heard of or older bands
type && instead of and
when they comment people on myspace they combine words: omgyouaresoprettyprettyimsojealous. etcetc.
use 'omg' and 'ily' and don't capitalize, but otherwise type normally.

i think its really fucked up that people trash talk scene people becasue or probaly one bad expierence they had.
ME being a scene kid myself will tell you what it means.
scene is like one step below emo. Were not dpressed actually we are very energetic and hyper. You can find scene kids at ur local mall. most of us are also known as mall rats. The most important things to a scene kid both guys and girls is:
are tight jeans,
are perfect hair which is normally dyed and cut in random spots giving us all a unique style,
music is also very important its the one of the onyl thigns we can relate to and can explain are feelings.
people often confuse us as emos. Please dont do this because we do not cut areself(not saying all emos do). and were nto depressed.(not saying all emos are once again)
i think you find more bi emos then scene kids btu im bi so yeah. most emos or scenes just say that there bi-sexual btu will only make out with the same sex and they do this for attention.
Another is that we are stuck up,attention whores, who only care about themselfs and uploading millions of pictures of half are faces on myspace, and that we talk black and are obsessed with robots abnd dinosaurs and anime. that is one ill admit to scenes and emos do have some wierd obbsesstion with boxs and other child animation i dont know why so dont ask we just do i fund girls that were bows in thier hair and where hello kitty and invader zim are xtreamly cute
well thats all i really have to say. heres some other thigns that can help you.

Well first off I'd just like to say ... it's totally pathetic using a website to insult people, & you're making yourself sound jealous, which tbh you probably are.
In all honesty, scene kids don't dress much different from emos, but have slightly better dress sense in terms of wearing a variety of different clothing instead of just band tees and drainpipes.
And yeh, let's face it bows, polka dots, beads, bandanas that kind of crap is pretty hot on the "scene" righ now. Don't deny it. That's even more pathetic than the haters are being.
They tend to listen to a variety of music instead of just one, e.g. DnB, rave, hip-hop as well as metal, and yeah they use chavvy slang which often confuses people who think they are "greebos".
They can be arrogant, but it's often because they are naturally quite popular and tbh most of them are reasonably attractive.
They are NOT depressed like emos are, hence why they are not called emo. So no, they do not slit their wrists or whine on about how much they miss their ex and are upset about being dumped.

1. Anyone who was a prep who wanted to go emo but couldn't give up the bright-ass colours.
2. Emos that a rainbow took a shit on.
GIRLS: Skinny jeans (often bright colours, like neon green or bright pink). Long hair, with multiple colours and with the emo-fringe, over the RIGHT eye. Can only be the right one, not the left. Tight-ass shirts, often with Hello Kitty, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Skelanimal or dinosaur prints all over it. Sometimes they like Pokemon. They often completely kill whatever they're "into", but they know nothing of it (for example, Pokemon or Hello Kitty). Thousands of clips in one place in hair (sometimes holding bangs back, which can be done with two, but has been done with ten different coloured, neon hair clips). Their eyeshadow goes from the bottom of their eye-socket to the bottom of their eyebrows. Can be any colour except black. Hair tends to make their head two-times the size it really is.
GUYS: Skinny jeans, held up only by a studded belt. Vans slip-ons or Converse chucks. Band T-shirts, or printed with Pokemon or dinosaurs. Short hair, spiked in the back more often than not, with the fringe to one side of the face, angled, over one eye. Like girls, the eye is always, and must be, the RIGHT eye, not the left. Hair is more often than not, not dyed, or dyed black.
All scene kids have a fascination with dinosaurs, RAWR and "being random". Most scene kids proclaim to be random, but they aren't. Most go through a period of liking Pokemon, but get frustrated when the stupid thing doesn't level up fast enough, or all of its moves are status-reducers.

This kid in my class was a scenester. I could tell, because of his jeans that were so tight they showed his junk, his Vans slip-ons and his layers of band t-shirts. He also screamed out "bright blue buffalos!" in the middle of class.
What a fucktard!
