Skype fatigue occurs when one grows so weary from the lack of physical contact in a long distance relationship that one begins to resent Skype as though it were responsible.

On her 100th day apart from Darren, Amy developed a case of Skype fatigue and spent the entire day in bed, sobbing, completely unable to even look at her laptop.
