Combat tourism

Going into a combat zone for only a few hours just to get a combat patch.

Yeah the officer has a combat patch. But he/she only got it through combat tourism. They didn't earn it.

Combat Width

A term in the WW2 video game: Hearts of Iron IV.

Provinces in Hearts of Iron 4 have a ‘size’ that represents the maximum amount of 'fighting' that can be present in that province. at a time.. The amount of 'fighting' possible at a time in each province is called 'Combat Width'.

"30, 60 and 90 Combat Width divisions are meta in the current DLC"

Other people who subscribe to this definition are those who like to discuss how the wars could have been won by the Hitler, Napoleon or Montgomery (In Operation Market Garden)in forums and chatrooms

With more Baby Boomers back in the dating game these days due to divorce they are looking for partners and potential spouses who can deal with and accept the baggage and drama they've accumulated in their lives. So when two of them actually connect and aren't turned off by each other's prior drama, they're "baggage compatible."

Man 1 - "How's your love life these days? Meet anybody you stand yet?"
