braking in period

Combination of "braking" (i.e., related to a car's brakes) and "breaking in period," describing the time it takes to adjust your foot to the sensitivity of the brakes of a car that you don't regularly drive, such as a friend's car, your spouse's car, or a rental car. At first, the brakes are either too sensitive, which causes you to slam down the breaks and jerk to a stop, or, too firm and require you to push down harder with your foot than you are used to.

I hope I get over the braking in period soon because I'm driving like a 9 year old right now.

Barking spider

A term used in jail for farting. A loud fart that is loud enough for others to hear.

" hey did i just hear you lay a fart?"
" no that's not me. That's a barking spider you heard"

Someone farts... " there goes another barking spider".

Binary braking

The way that a driver uses the brake when driving. Either it is full brake or no brake. Driver does not know how to feather the brake to make it more comfortable for the passengers.

The Chinese bus driver was binary braking all the way to factory and I damn near hit my head on the seat in front of me a dozen times.

Passenger Braking

When the driver of the car, that you are riding in, is driving so unpredictable, irratic, crazy, scary, or dangerous that you reactively slam on the brakes, even though you are in the passenger seat.

Yeah, last weekend, I got a ride with him, and promised myself I would never let him drive me in a car again! He had me passenger braking and holding on with both hands, the whole trip!

The overuse of the letter 'z' at inappropriate times to mimic the ever desirable ebonics spoken in African American communities, typically performed by a young white male only in the company of other white individuals.

White guy #1:
"My fantasy football team was spizzanked last night, damn you Matt Ryan."

White guy #2:
"You're going to have horrible karma for all of that fake blacking, so stop."

Dogs are barking

So.. this is not a phrase of american origin as suggested in the other definitions. It comes from the Cockney rhyming slang "dog meat" -> "feet" and means my feet hurt.
