A person who likes to pretend that they are from California. The name "Holly" is derived from the location Hollywood, CA. Some of the common characteristics of a holly include:

1) Having an arrogant and/or egotistical personality.
2) Exclusively wearing California-inspired apparel (i.e. torn jeans, rope necklaces, sandals, etc.).
3) Having "O" and "C" as their 2 favorite letters of the alphabet.

The most common place to find a holly would be at a Hollister clothing store.
