1. When an individual attempts to coerce sympathy or regret from a subject for aggravating an issue that was not known prior.
2. Exaggerating mild discomfort to the point of PTSD-adjacent trigger events, likening said experiences to traumatic events. In the service of garnering an apology.

No you friends are idiots who like to tell you these things because you are not smart. How many times do I need to explain this to you. I love you but I really think you need to stop hanging out with them they dont have your best interest in mind

When you are trying to lie and manipulate someone into questioning their reality, but you're actually correct about the information without meaning. However you are ignorant to the correct information.
A form of reverse gaslighting.

Did you hear what that guy said? It sounded like he was trying to gaslight the other guy but the information he was spouting was correct I think he was gasrighting the guy.
