Used in Central Texas and translates more or less as "cousin" but can actually refer to any extended kinfolk of roughly the same age who you are friends with.

"Hey ya'll, this my lil' cuddy DeMarcus. We kin through my big momma's auntie."

choddy

n. Brit. slang from chewing gum. See spiggy. (East Lancashire, very localised, eg chong in Stoke-on-Trent, 50mi distant, spiggy in Bolton, 20m distant. Sometimes given as chuddy but this is consistent with local vowel sub-variants.

Got any choddy, I've none left. or: I've only a tanner left, it'll have to be a pack of choddy instead.

Choddy

noun: Those commercials where celebrities or other people stand in front of a blank background and stare at the camera and they all say the same thing over and over. These commercials are really annoying and need to be stopped.
