1-10 Attractiveness Scale

The attractiveness scale is an outdated concept largely based in sexist objectification of women by which one can objectively rank an individual's physical attractiveness based on a 1-10 scale. An Attractiveness Scale takes the shape of a Bell Curve, meaning the vast majority of people are lumped together in the middle range.

The scale can be understood as follows:

1 - 3 UNATTRACTIVE
The bottom 10% of the scale describes those generally considered unattractive people. In particular people with pronounced deformities or a seriously irregular appearance.

4-7 AVERAGE

The vast majority of people (roughly 80%) fall into the average range. Their looks are typical and not exceptional. Some average people can be subjectively valued by individuals as cute, sexy, hot, etc..

8-10 THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE
About 10% are people who are generally agreed to be well above average in looks. These are the people highly sought after for their physical appearance and who are often employed AT THE HIGH END of beauty- focused industries such as fashion modeling, entertainment, and sex work.

On the 1-10 Attractiveness Scale most women think they are "8"s but they are really "5"s. Most men assume they are "5"s no matter where they fall on the scale.

The Cortina Scale

Much like the Richter scale which is a measure of the strength of earthquakes. The Cortina scale is used in the measuring of farts. The scale goes from 1 to 10 with 1 being not stinky to 10 being the stinkiest toot ever created. If one does not throw up it cannot be considered a 10.

That toot was an absolute room clearer. It must have been atheist a 7.2 on the Cortina Scale

Smith's Scale of Literary Gumption

A rating scale, out of 10, for rating books. This scale may also be used to rate other forms of media. Each point of this scale represents a different meaning:
10 - Essential read. A life changing book. Should be read by everyone, even if you don't like reading.
9 - Exceptional. Must read regardless of whether you like the genre or not.
8 - Great. Must read if you love the genre.
7 - Good. Recommended if you like the genre.
6 - Okay. Read if you've run out of grease and good books in the genre and crave more.
5 - Whatever. Take it or leave it.
4 - Not for me. Didn't like it, but others might.
3 - Not good. Didn't like it and I don't think others would either.
2 - Bad. Don't read. Waste of time.
1 - horrendous. This book should not exist and everyone who has ever read it is worse off for the experience.
