Once a movement to back something of importance and relevance for progressive-evolution of the world, primarily when under psychedelic inebriation, now a trend to mimic the desire of self promotion - in a sober, money driven state

Tattoos that are less than ten years old, particularly those in the "Sailor Jerry" style.

A person with several tattoos on their arms, legs or torso who may wear black rimmed glasses and a beanie could be said to have bad hipster rash. People riding fixies and those working in cafes are in the high risk category for hipster rash.

Hipster

Someone who had their apartment burn down and who lost everything, Creating a sub conscious personality that breeds a strong rejection of society's common viewpoint on most things. Often followed by denial of being a hipster. This type of personality is exceptionally educated but ofter portrays the inability to do things properly.

A used car salesman who doesnt sell many cars, is a hipster. Because if you are a used car salesman and follow the societal ways you will succeed.

Hipster Pissed

When you discover something new, usually a song or band, then all of a sudden the whole world knows about it and you get upset because it was your original find.

You find a song on YouTube, for example "I Love It" by Icona Pop, then you tell your friend to look it up because it's fucking awesome. A week later this song that you're proud of finding and you think no one else knows about is one the radio and everyone is singing it. You are now hipster pissed!

They establish new trends, bring back old ones, make use of the bizarre, and bring back what has been abandoned. True hipsters are creative, artistic and, despite their unconformity to culture, have a great sense of what will and will not be acceptable. They can take an old pair of shoes from their father's closet and make them trendy again. They can go to a Goodwill, spend $17.50 on an entire outfit, and still be best-dressed at the party. Everyone wants to be a true hipster, but hardly anyone is. True hipsters come by one-in-a-thousand; or even fewer. The other nine-hundred and ninety-nine "hipsters" just walk on foundations already laid by the true hipster. They do irregular things just because they want to be cool, not because they are naturally innovative and creative.

True Hipster - "I don't have money for all the expensive brands. It's ok though, I found some cool stuff at Goodwill that I can afford."

Hipster Look-A-Like - "I have loads of money, but I'm going to go buy used clothes at the Goodwill, just because it's the thing to do."
