(v): 1. As referring to the sports teams of the University of Maryland.
2. To play amazingly well in the first half of a game. Notably, pertaining to a substantive lead. Then come out in the second half and blow the game.
3. A team's complete lack of talent in the last minutes of a game.

Pull the Clip

A phrase derived from foreign lunch aids working in most schools from most prominently elementary into highschool, this phrase is shouted usually very loudly, tainted with Latino accent making it nigh unrecognizable. Students would wear clothing pins or "clips" on their arms with their names written on them with sharpie marker, if a student or group of students misbehaved, their clip would be pulled.

Students are talking very loudly on a particular day

Student: Guys, stop talking! They're going to Pull the Clip!
