the name to call someone when they will literally do anything to not only eat and fuel their own ego, but they will also try and coerce others to feed their ego as well

also the name for when someone uses something someone else says to fuel the im-going-to-make-this-conversation-and/or-topic-all-about-myself-even-though-im-the-one-who-asked-the-question-first fire

P.S. they just are this way whether they’re aware of it themselves or not.

This is just one of the many examples that can be used for this type of person, whether this extreme or not:

Person 1: Hey what’s your favorite place to hang out?
Person 2: Oh! I think that would have to be the park down the road. I like it becau-
Person 1: *interrupts* Ohhhh yeah, yeah. I absolutely LOVE parks too. Like, did you know that there was this one time when a kid were I fell off one of those silver slides and ended up needing a cast? I got a blue one because my favorite color is blue. Do you like blue too? I bet you do, and I bet that it’s your favorite because it’s my favorite color as well. Anyways, when I went back to school everyone was always asking to sign it and hang around me to hear about the story of how it happened! I was like suuuuuper popular by the way. You know, saying that just in case you couldn’t tell, but I think you could tell because I still am. Obviously. What were you gonna say again?
Person 2: I-.. What?????? You’re such a damn ego muncher I swear to god. You can’t even let me finish answering the question YOU asked ME without making it all about yourself!
