This state-of-mind is often triggered when someone makes a playful joke or comment about another person (who then may or may not become Frank). In extreme circumstances one may be rendered socially incapacitated for small periods of time from being too Frank.

- People were making fun of John's new socks. He got so Frank he went to the bathroom and flushed them down the toilet.
