Whalism

An ideology coined by a Google+ user under the pseudonym "Kugel". The belief that, due to their remarkable intelligence and capacity for language, culture, and complex empathy, whales and dolphins should be considered equals to humans as species. A whalist believes it is completely degenerate and immoral to kidnap, traffic, torture or kill a whale, unless your people absolutely depend on whale meet for survival. One who converts to whalism has been "whalepilled".

I recently converted to whalism because I'm sick of whales, whose sentience and intelligence rivals that of humans, being slaughtered and imprisoned for food and entertainment.
