Slappy

The puppet from the Goosebumps series, often portrayed as an evil mortal. In the Goosebumps movie, R.L. Stine (played by Jack Black) Claims that he will never come back. Slappy makes a return in 2018 during the new movie Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. After being defeated again, Stine hoped Slappy wasn’t making an official return any time soon. There are many versions of Slappy, but movie one, without a doubt, owns my entire heart.

You’re watching Goosebumps with your friend. You say “There’s Slappy! My favorite monster!” You watched the movie for the entirety of just seeing Slappy. (Been there, done that.) Your friend says “He scares me…is he real? Can he actually move?” You say, “He may be real, but he can’t actually move. Remember that he’s a puppet and somebody is controlling him. So yes he’s real, but no, he can’t move even if he wanted to.”

Slappy Alaskan
