Sure ink and feathers or coal are more primitive but a dollar store Bic knock off is everyday primitive.

Sure I like goretexv but a wool jacket is everyday primitive.
Yah I can use steel needles but a bone one is everyday primitive.
Chicken cooked in a clay vessel at a beach fire pit is everyday primitive.

An adjective used to describe when someone holds political views that tend to be out of date compared to other people’s beliefs

Brian thinks that U.S. should rely more on coal to fulfill its energy needs, even though coal is known to be a major environmental pollutant and can be very hazardous to the miners’ health. Most people support trying to fill more of the U.S. energy needs using renewable energy in order to be more sustainable and reduce our reliance on foreign powers to address our energy based needs. His views on energy use are politically primitive.

ninja promotion

noun

When you're awarded a fancy new title and a fresh pile of responsibilities, but your paycheck doesn’t move an inch. Like a ninja, this promotion slips in silently, sounds impressive, might even look impactful—but remains completely undetectable in your bank account.

Origin:
Rumored to have started among government employees, where budget freezes were common but the need for “recognition” was high. Managers, unable to offer raises, began handing out sleek new titles like “Senior Specialist” or “Lead Coordinator” as stealthy morale boosters. The term “ninja promotion” was coined after someone joked that their new role was like a ninja—deadly serious, highly skilled, and totally invisible on payday.
