Harder than a cats head

A phrase created by emergency services personnel who were trying to euthanaise a cat. The cats head was found to be incredibly strong. It is know used to describe anything especially strong. Often used to describe an erection. Now frequently used by TV commentators when calling AFL games.

A combination of the phrases "pull it out of my ass" (i.e. doing something difficult in the last minute) and "got a wild hare up my ass" (i.e. unexpectedly having motivation to do something).

I pulled a wild hare out of my ass and wrote my 10 page report starting at 3am the night before it was due.
