Nano Doc or Nano-documentary is a short film documentary condensing any particular subject or persons business, experience, or backstory into a 1-2 minute cinematic "call to action" for mobile content consumption across social media. Similar in concept to what's commonly referred as a "mini-doc" or mini documentary but significantly shorter and is, in itself, a specific discipline and field of expertise amongst micro content producers and developers.
"I read that Netflix is gearing up to go all in on nano docs this fall.", "The draw of nano docs for millennials is the idea being exposed to new subjects in a more concise way without the commitment of a full blown documentary." "Did you hear Jesse's shooting nano docs for the State now?."

1. My mom took my TV privileges away, I'm getting Doc Blocked!
2. Netflix isn't working, I'm getting Doc Blocked!
3. "Hey Man, did you see the new Doctor Who episode on Saturday?"
"No, man, my cable was cut off, I got Doc Blocked"

That creepy feeling you get when you open a google doc file at work and realize that one of your teammates is also looking at it, but then you open another one and see that same teammate already there again. Repeat into infinity.

Term for the current generation of smash players who first got into Melee after seeing the documentary series The Smash Brothers.
The doc covers notable professional Smash players active since "Golden Era of Smash" (2003-2008), the history of the competitive Melee scene, the 2013 Evolution Championship Series (the largest Smash tournament of its day), and the Smash community’s desire for people to keep playing Melee despite the GameCube being discontinued since 2007.
Since its release in August 2013, anyone who claims to have been inspired by this documentary to cease showering and redirect their efforts to competing in Smash games is a doc kid.

smash player 1: “So, how did you get into Smash?”
player 2: “Well I guess I’m a doc kid. Probably why I’m a Melee purest lol.”
player 1: “LMAO, me too. That doc changed my life man. So weird to think it’s kinda old now, though we’re still considered part of the new generation.”
