Crusade: A popular pastime during the Middle Ages. Generally considered to be an example of putting in a big effort to achieve your goals. Sometimes used in a negative way involving ‘hating on’, persecuting, changing or even killing those who are different to your way of thinking.

On December 19, everybody has to wear a great helm and attack anyone not wearing a helmet.

Crusader

A delusional, relentless, or miraculously successful person who continues to pursue a girl after she rejected him, and somehow ends up winning her over anyway.
Crusaders are usually male and very desperate for the girls attention some may call them simps.

Guy one: “Why are they together, I thought she rejected him.”
Guy two: “I guess he’s just a crusader.”
