A complement sandwich is when you have a negative thing to tell someone, but you sandwich it between two complements.
My boss came up to me today and said "I love your tie! You suck at your job. Great catch at the softball game!"

Post or thread on social media created solely to garner positive attention and validation. Often these "compliment farms" will pose under the guise of vulnerable or marginalized individuals seeking help or support. These "compliment farmers" will pretend to suffer from real issues or dilemmas, such as body dysmorphic disorder, to inspire agreements, head pats (and OF link views) from their audience.

A Trojan Compliment is a nice looking compliment on the surface but whose only aim is to manipulate you.
It's more insidious than a back-handed compliment in the way that you don't really realize it's a critic.
The Trojan Complimenter then waits for you to confess it's not as it looks, or he will "realize" it's not as he thought and pretend to be disappointed and use it to get more concessions from you.
