1. A troublesome or bothersome circumstance, situation, person, or thing. A bother. Can refer to something or someone beastly in behavior; terrible.
2. An exclamation signifying frustration or upset upon entering a certain predicament.
3. An expression or exclamation signifying worry, weariness, or pain upon injury.
