Casual way to refer to speculative evolution, which is a vast subset of scifi that uses science to theorize and fantasize about the evolution of any kind of creatures (fantasy, ancient, current, space scifi, anime,... )

A shorter version of Poverty-spec, i.e. the base model of a car that doesn't have any optional extras equipped - the cheapest of the range.

Owners of pov spec cars typically buy into brands due to trends and hype for bragging rights.
