Cockney Slang for a household bill (water, Gas, electric etc.) The Beechams Pill - a bill, generally shortand to The Beechams.

"We're going to have to Watch our spending this month, I've got to pay the the Beechams.

On hearing the post plop on the doormat the husband go's to get it, his wife shouts "anything interesting deer?" and husband replies " no love just a couple of Beechams!"

The main public beach in Newport RI that is infamous for it's red seaweed. Locals steer clear from this beach and go to the private beaches like hazards and gooseberry instead. If they want the big beach experience, they go to Second Beach or Gansett instead.
