this started as a misspelling but now refers to the act of taking a bad screenshot, for example if the volume bar is visible or a notification pops up as you are taking it.

'I could not stop screenshitting yesterday. It kept getting interrupted by my mom texting me about my asshole recovery lotion.'

Screeching Karen

A subtype of the "Karen" archetype of annoying women cliches/tropes;

Screaming Karens are the type of person who films a fight/confrontation with their iPhone,
actively avoiding doing anything about the situation.

When a punch lands, or a fight ensues, the screaming karen will SCREECH at the top of their lungs to indicate something has happened. Usually deafening the viewer of the video being recorded.

Alternatively, this type of Karen, usually when being 'hella ghetto', will announce low-tier shit talk during the duration of the fight. Usually along the lines of something stupid, such as, "Get 'em! Get 'em!", often repeatedly.

Screaming Karens provide nothing to any conflict; they simply stand far away, record in Portrait mode on their phone, and act as a human alarm to alert any passerbys that there might, indeed, be a thing happening.

"Did you see that video of the fight in the mall last night?"
"Yeah bro. But whoever recorded it was a real Screeching Karen, I couldn't even hear what they were fighting about!"

Looking at another player's area of the TV during a local split-screen game and using it to your advantage. This tactic is most commonly used while playing deathmatch/arena shooters.

Knowing exactly where your opponent is, based on their surroundings, gives the sharking player an overwhelming advantage.

"I move too much dude. You made a beeline straight to my location, quit screen sharking me!"

Someone who wants to be the centre of attention on media associated with screens such as Streams, TV shows and movies, a common example of a Screen jockey is the one extra or actor trying to get as much facetime on the camera as possible while ignoring instructions from the director. They are also known to flip out at the smallest thing that takes the attention from them much to the displeasure to those in contact or near them at the given time.

Frank was a total Screen Jockey constantly trying to keep the attention of the audience even in scenes in which he wasn't supposed to play a vital role.

"That player is such a Screen Jockey, constantly trying to get in front of me when I'm streaming."
