Career Path

Cartridge

A cartridge is a type of suitcase-looking gadget made by Bondrewd from Made in Abyss to bypass the curse that affects cave explorers when they ascend 10 meters or higher in the deep cave named “Abyss” by the citizens of the island abyss is situated on. The insides of a cartridge is typically orphans from other remote location brought down to level 5 by Bondrewd to experiment the curse of the abyss on/makes cartridges into, they usually will have their bones & most organs except a few vital ones removed and then shoved into a suitcase-ish container for future use. They usually will form a bond to Bondrewd & the bond is needed in order for the cartridges to take the curse for him instead. Cartridges are rather important to Bondrewd since the curses of level 5-7 always involves death/injury or the loss of humanity in some way. The procedure for cartridges was inspired by the process of making white whistles (Your Worth).
