In the gaming world:
Cheat Codes use to refer just to entering in a sequence of inputs either buttons from a controller or characters from a keyboard used to change the way your games are played. Cheat Codes are created by the developer and put in the game intentionally. This idea originated from game testers to be able to easily skip levels, heal their character, gain an item, etc to effectively test the game. The term Cheat Code is now commonly used for anything to help a player with their game. Cheat Codes now can be actual codes typed in to unlock a feature of the game or hint like a location of a hidden item players want to find. Can be a strategy to perform a function in the game as well.

the G code is a set very basic rules that if you follow very carefully, you will have the upper hand on anyone who means to do you harm. it is not so much a secret, as a humble understanding of the ways of the world. to boast and to flaunt are direct violations of it, so those who frequently speak in public about the G code do not fully grasp the concept. the G code is a way of life, a survival technique that has endured conflicts since the arrival of the first slave of the eastern seaboard.

A software development term describing the act of shoving large amounts of code at people where it isn't wanted. Often used in reference to large, untested, and/or unnecessary patches or commits to open source projects. Originally coined by Zed Shaw on website for the Mongrel web server. A reference to fisting.
"Dude, what's up with that thousand-line, no-tests commit you made? What the hell does it even do? It broke the build a week ago and you still haven't fixed it. Stop code fisting..."

A derogatory term for program code that is ridiculously verbose and difficult to read and edit, characterized by grossly abusing the myriad of features available for a given language when a much simpler and more elegant solution is obvious. Derived from the horrible code that the employees of large, bureaucratic companies write for the sake of busy work and/or tormenting coworkers.
John spent eight hours writing 471 lines of Java enterprise code, importing thirteen libraries and carefully crafting three factory classes to accomplish a task that could just as easily be done with ten lines of Python. A hard day's pay earned.
