sorcerer's apprentice mode

Like Mickey Mouse's brooms, sorcerer's apprentice mode is a computer event that triggers over and over again on its own output. There was once a time on USENET (an internet message board system) where a program was written to cancel anonymously posted messages automatically. Problem was, the canceling message was also an anonymous message which caused the program to trigger on its own output.

This actually will happen if you try to downgrade a 2.0 firmware PSP and you have Norton running...the screen real estate gets used up faster and faster with the same darn error message. This is because it gets a false positive that the downgrader is PSPBrick, then Norton quarantines the "virus" which causes it to notice the freshly quarantined virus as a new virus that was just installed seconds later, and the process repeats.

Ass Mode

An intentional series of behaviors or statements by a disgruntled employee designed to harass the employer with out reaching a level that would result in the justified termination of the employee.

Ass Mode was first seen on the CBS "Late Late Show" with Craig Ferguson. Where Craig often say's something that is not politically correct or controversial ad will end the statement with the CBS catch phrase "CBS Cares" This behavior has also been seen on the "David Letterman Show" when Dave will say things about GE which owns CBS.

Craig will sometimes tell the audience that the show is running in ass mode because CBS is so cheap that the lighting hasn't been fixed, or a graphic was reused by crossing out part of it and crudely drawing in the new material

Abercrombie and Fitch Models

A boy, or group of boys, usually in their twenties, (and usually white) who look and dress like typical Abercrombie and Fitch models. Or, in other words, guys with toned yet slim bodies, preppy clothing, and styled wavy hair. Generally the boy version of the insult "all girls dress the same," or "typical white girl."

Friend 1: Did you enjoy the movie?

Friend 2: It was okay. Wish they would have used realistic actors instead of just a bunch of Abercrombie and Fitch Models.
