fob = Fresh Off the Boat.

This word is used on people who pretend to know what they're talking about, or who act as if they don't notice others are around them. it's usually used as an insult, though sometimes people will name themselves fobs.

Person 1: Hey, what's new?
Fob: Lyk3 OMG! How could you ask such a stupid question?
Person 1: Wow. You're such a fob.
Fob: Excuse me? What the -expleted- is a FOB? Does fob stand for FABULOUS? You know it does.

A abbreviation for the term 'Found On Boat'. Commonly used in a derogatory manner towards people of Maori or Samoan descent, who immigrate into other countries. FOBs are known to be outcasts, both fashion-wise and language-wise. They generally group together with their own kind to perform such activities as playing basketball (or b-ball) and rapping.
