Wikiality may be defined as: "An entry on wikipedia that enough people agree with becomes the truth. Anyone can logon and change it, and then it becomes wikiality."

Term first used on the satirical news program "The Colbert Report" by Stephen Colbert, 7-31-06

Wikiality

A word coined by Stephen Colbert of the Colbert Report meaning Wikipedia's reality. Anything said by wikipedia, which may or may not be contrary to actual reality. A Democracy on facts.

Wikipedia (Wikiality): Albert Einstein was a pantheist.

Einstein (Reality): It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly.

wikiality

A bullshit idea coined by those who are too incompetent and lazy to bother critically analyzing their information sources, and so they would rather get their information from printed encyclopedias, which as everyone knows are absolutely never wrong or biased in any way.

Elephant population tripled according to Wikipedia, so that's wikiality. Of course, that entry lasted for about 20 minutes before it was edited and has remained correct since... but proving Wikipedia works is the same as proving it doesn't.

A reality that is agreed upon by the majority of society. It was first mentioned on 'The Colbert Report' as tonight's (8-1-06) 'The Word.'

Stephen: The number of elephants in Africa has tripled in the last three months. And 5,000,000,000 out of 6,000,000,000 people agree with me.

Jon: That's one crazy wikiality, Stephen. Just crazy.

Reality which is not REALLY true, but since the concensus on wikipedia affirms it to be true.... it is now true. The WikiWorld of facts: It's only true if everyone thinks it's true.
