(v.) The action by an Urbandictionary.com editor where they might reject a definition for a new word and then submit their own competing definition for that word.

Urbandoctrination

Using Urbandictionary.com as a means to push a political, religious, philosophical, etc. ideal by either making derogatory terms against groups that disagree with your viewpoint or taking already-existing terminology and explaining it through a biased point of view.
Someone who does this is called an Urbandoctrinator.

Urbandoctrination is a serious issue on this website right now. While people are entitled to their opinions, Urbandictionary is a horrible website to exercise them, on the account that there is no comment system on which to discuss the terms and their definitions with the exception of a bare-bones like/dislike system that, again, fails in the presence of a popular opinion. This leads to a phenomenon where you can post an opinionated definition with very little means to challenge or argue its validity. It's a downward spiral that does very little but cause those with extreme opinions to double down. Not to mention that it just adds to the enormous issue of scaring people who aren't themselves invested in the topic away from having a civil discussion. Again, there's nothing wrong with having opinions, but there are far better platforms to voice them. And if you have time to write a 1000+ word definition on a topic you disagree with, you probably have time to do more productive things with your life.

When you're browsing Urbandictionary.com and you see a very old definition that still has little or no votes. You then vote it up out of sympathy, much like in reality when you see a hobo without money.

When a person follows trends mindlessly and just wears them all together without having their own sense of style. Usually they just buy a whole bunch of stuff at Urban Outfitters and let the store tell them what's hip instead of figuring it out on their own.
