tegosu

Tegosu is moving your hands and arms in rhythm or beat to music. It is a form of dance that requires only the use of your arms and hands to reflect the emotion and feeling behind the music. It is derived from the Japanese phrase 手動かす (te ugokasu), which means "to move hands".

For people who aren't fond of the pronunciation, tay-go-su.

The act of tegosu is called "teggosing".
The past tense is "tegoed".

I like to enjoy music through tegosu.

I practice tegosu daily.
