When your friend- who looks strikingly like Spock from Star Trek- engages in behavior similar to cock-blocking. Often in brutally failed attempts to hook up with your girlfriend, or prevent you from doing so.

John: Dude, did you get any action last night?

In normative terms: Receiving rejection from a girl because of a pre-existing relationship or partiality with/to another, completely expected guy.

Not to be confused with the term spock block, which denotes that Spock is the one being blocked and not Kirk.

{After having been turned down, a guy returns to his friends, all of which then watch another, much less 'qualified' male approach the woman, ready to laugh at his impending failure. A variation of the term cock block, which would be used to define the act of one person preventing a man from sexual intercoarse, but in this case preventing a man from masterbating.
